Major MISO Reorganization Announced

The following appears unedited:

FOR ALL Military Information Support Operations (MISO) personnel – please promulgate to members of the Regiment and our valued stakeholders.
Today, we provisionally activated the Military Information Support Operations Command (MISOC) and the 8th Military Information Support Operations Group (MISG). We have also realigned our organizational structure into the 4th and 8th MISGs supported by the 3rd MISB for dissemination. These structural changes will, over time, optimize our regional and tactical units of action – foundationally based on the best Soldiers in the world who are highly skilled and effective MISO master practitioners.
We are all very fortunate to be a part of this well earned MISO evolution. Our forces have performed magnificently and we are extremely honored to have senior general and flag officer support to adapt our force structure, doctrine, training, and career management in pursuit of being even more relevant to the Combatant Commanders and U.S. Ambassadors.
This is a great time to be in MISO, and together we will make history as we provide the nation with the most effective Inform and Influence Activities.
Regards,
CS

"We are all very fortunate to be a part of this well earned MISO evolution."

But are we all? No mention at all of 2nd or 7th POG/MISG?

It appears that this is AC only. At least for the time being.
